We’re excited to announce this year’s theme, ASL for All: Revival, Resilience, and Accessibility. This theme shows how American Sign Language (ASL) helps improve communication, build strength in overcoming challenges, and make communication accessible to everyone.
- Revival: The Michigan Deaf Association is returning after being inactive for years. We’re focusing on today’s world to spark new interest in ASL and help it grow in our communities.
- Resilience: ASL helps the Deaf community and others adapt to challenges and stay strong, especially when it comes to breaking down communication barriers.
- Accessibility: ASL makes communication easier for people of all backgrounds, abilities, and languages, ensuring no one is left out in today’s world.
