2025 MDA Conference

The Michigan Deaf Association is excited to invite MDA members and the community—including Deaf, Deafblind, hard of hearing, CODA, sign language interpreters, and others—to attend the 2025 MDA Conference, which will be held on Saturday, November 15, and Sunday, November 16, 2025, at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Detroit Troy Auburn Hills (850 Tower Drive, Troy, MI 48098). We look forward to welcoming you!

We’re excited to announce this year’s theme, ASL for All: Revival, Resilience, and Accessibility. This theme shows how American Sign Language (ASL) helps improve communication, build strength in overcoming challenges, and make communication accessible to everyone.

  • Revival: The Michigan Deaf Association is returning after being inactive for years. We’re focusing on today’s world to spark new interest in ASL and help it grow in our communities.
  • Resilience: ASL helps the Deaf community and others adapt to challenges and stay strong, especially when it comes to breaking down communication barriers.
  • Accessibility: ASL makes communication easier for people of all backgrounds, abilities, and languages, ensuring no one is left out in today’s world.

Join us for a family-friendly weekend of networking, ASL festival, self-advocacy and community-building workshops, entertainment, and more! Let’s come together to celebrate ASL and strengthen our communities.
